Soul sucker

I went to Wal-Mart today because I heard they have the cheapest contacts, and as soon as I walked in the door, I wanted to kill myself. I think it must be built upon the Hell Mouth. The contacts were more than I wanted to pay, and the whole store was bathed in this gross florescent green lighting. I freaked out and had to leave quickly.

There really is some bad energy in that store. I used to be a nonbeliever in that kind of thing, but there's no getting around it. There's something about the place that physically and emotionally affects me.

I SO am feeling you on this one. I have to get my groceries there because they are almost $1-2 cheaper on everything.

Still, I can feel my very "life-source" being drained when I go. I rush down the aisles to get out of there, sometimes cutting off old [rather "largess"] men in those automatic riding carts just to move faster.

I [so bad I know] have even been known to cuss out people just to move their waddling, Walmart asses faster. I don't understand what compells some people to want to almost live there.

On the other side, I've made a game out of going there. While I stand in line to check out [which is inevitably over 20 minutes], I play "let's learn about a person game". All it takes is one empathetic word and usually the person in front of me or cashier spills their whole guts to me.

It's fun and I learn how to be a better listener.

F*cking congratulations on getting into school. I can't believe I haven't been by to say "Way to go!!!!!!"

I totally agree about dumb Wal-Mart. I seriously feel my blood sugar drop the second I walk in there and I get super cranky.

No one *has* to shop there, unless it's the only thing in town and you have no car.

I would rather spend twice as much than go to Wal-Mart. Yes, it's cheaper, but at what price?
